Guarantee Every RYD surfboard is hand-shaped in South Africa and checked before it leaves our hands. What we can't do is guarantee that a surfboard won't ding, crack, or break once it hits the water — no one in this game can, and we'd rather be straight with you about that than promise something we can't back up. A surfboard takes a beating out there, and that's part of the deal. What we can guarantee is that every board leaves us built properly, with the materials and craftsmanship it deserves.

Warranty — 6 Months, Manufacturing Defects Only

Every RYD surfboard is covered by a 6-month warranty against genuine manufacturing defects — faults in materials or workmanship that were there before the board ever touched water. This includes things like:

• Delamination not caused by impact
• Faulty fin boxes or fin box placement
• Resin or fibreglass defects present from construction

This warranty does not cover:

• Dings, cracks, snaps, or pressure dents from normal use
• Damage from heat exposure (direct sun, car boots, board bags left in the sun)
• Damage from impact, drops, or improper handling
• Reasonable wear and tear
• Boards that have been repaired, modified, or altered by anyone other than RYD

To claim under warranty, you'll need proof of purchase and photos of the affected area — send these to hello.sa@rydbrand.com and we'll take it from there.
